Document Data Storage and Deletion

At docAnalyzer.ai, we take the utmost care in ensuring the secure storage of your documents. When you upload a PDF for conversation, the document is securely stored on our servers that are equipped with advanced encryption methods and robust security measures.

Your document remains on our servers only for the duration of its necessity. This allows you to engage in multiple conversations with the document and retrieve information from it as long as it is stored on our servers.

However, we understand and respect your rights over your data and the importance of its control. Hence, we provide an easy mechanism for you to delete your documents from our servers. You can opt to delete any document you have uploaded at any time. When you choose to do so, we ensure that the PDF and all related information are permanently removed from our servers, leaving no trace behind.

The deletion process is irreversible, so once deleted, the data cannot be retrieved. We encourage you to make sure you have extracted all necessary information from the document before you proceed with deletion.

Third-Party Sharing

At docAnalyzer.ai, we take your privacy seriously, and we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our users. In the course of providing our service, it's important to note that we do work with LLM third-party services - OpenAI’s and Anthropic's APIs.

Firstly, it’s important to note that we do not upload any document data to OpenAI or Anthropic. All documents are stored securely on our own servers. Similarly, any embedding vectors generated during our processes are stored on our self-managed Redis servers, without involving third-party providers, except for the highly secure and trusted data center services provided by OVH.

When interacting with the OpenAI API, the only data transmitted is the "input context window" necessary for processing your requests. OpenAI has strict policies in place regarding the data they receive via their API (which is not the same as ChatGPT):

• Data Use: Data sent to the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve their models unless users explicitly opt-in to allow their data to be used for such purposes. At docAnalyzer, we have chosen not to opt-in to share our data.
• Data Retention: Data submitted through the API is not used to enhance OpenAI’s commercial services, and it isn’t shared with third parties for marketing. Furthermore, API data is retained for no more than 30 days, ensuring it is deleted thereafter, unless retention beyond this period is mandated by law.

Furthermore, OpenAI has stringent privacy and security measures in place to ensure that your data is securely processed and not misused.

We do not share your information with any other third-party services and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Log Files

docAnalyzer.ai follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics.
