About docAnalyzer
AI agents that read your documents like a peer who has read them, and produce new ones in return.
docAnalyzer was started in late 2023 by Christophe Le Bars, a programmer with a long arc. He was an early Debian developer in the late 1990s, founded Alcove in 1996 as one of France's first Free Software consultancies, and spent the two decades after that building tools and infrastructure between Paris, Hong Kong, New York City, and Dubai. The throughline was always the same: software that respects the craft of whoever uses it, and resists the temptation to substitute confidence for competence.
The moment for docAnalyzer was specific: ELIZA becomes real. For sixty years, talking to a machine about a document had been a parlor trick: ELIZA-shaped, syntactic, hollow. By 2023, that quietly stopped being true. Large models could finally read a 200-page filing and answer like a peer who had read it. Most of the industry took that as license to ship chatbots faster. docAnalyzer was built on the opposite reading: if documents have finally found a real interlocutor, the work is to honor the document: keep the human in the loop, treat privacy as a default, and make the AI a multiplier for judgment rather than a substitute for it.
Today, docAnalyzer is built by a compact team of five working remotely between New York, Dubai, London, and Hong Kong, and used daily by individuals and organizations across the world. It sits inside AI For Verticals, Inc., the umbrella for a small set of focused products that share one conviction: vertical depth beats horizontal sprawl. Documents were the first vertical. They are not the last.
What we believe
Your data never trains AI models.
Privacy is a default, not a setting.
AI is a multiplier, not a substitute.
Your judgment matters more than the model's confidence.
Individuals first.
Build for the person doing the work, not the procurement officer signing the contract.
Output formats are first-class.
What you get out of the AI matters as much as what you put in.
