By default, the maximum prompt length is capped at 10% of your Context Budget. The remaining 90% is reserved for the documents' retrieved context to keep answers grounded.

Ways to get a longer prompt:

• Increase Context Budget in chat settings. The prompt cap scales with it (still 10% by default), so a larger budget allows a longer prompt.
• Expert mode (Pro and above): adjust Prompt Capacity from 5% up to 60% in chat settings. Higher percentages give more room for your prompt but leave less budget for document context.
