Plans and what credits buy you
The plan ladder, what each tier includes, and where credits fit in.
docAnalyzer's plans share the same core product: three chat modes, the workflows, the embedded chatbot, the API. What changes between plans is the size of what you can do: how many documents, how big each file, how many chats a day, how many workflow runs, how many seats. Plus access to premium models and a monthly credit allowance.
The plan ladder
| Plan | Who it's for |
|---|---|
| Free | Trying the product on a handful of documents |
| Basic | Light personal use; small workspace |
| Pro | Day-to-day prosumer use; higher caps and credits |
| Team | Multiple seats sharing a workspace; collaborative editing |
| Enterprise | Centrally-managed seats, SSO, custom limits |
For exact numbers (file size caps, monthly upload quota, total storage, workspace and label counts, seat pricing) see the pricing page or your plan settings. Numbers update from the catalog; the article you're reading would drift if it inlined them.
What's plan-driven
These caps depend on your plan:
- Per-file upload size: how big any single document can be.
- Monthly upload quota: how much you can add per month.
- Total storage: the running cap on what's in your workspaces combined.
- Chats per day / per month: fair-use limits on Ask docAnalyzer, Focus, and Co-work.
- Workspaces per account: how many separate containers you can have.
- Labels per workspace: how many groupings you can maintain in any one workspace.
- Monthly credit allowance: what funds premium-model usage, workflows, Enhanced OCR.
Hit any of these caps in the app and you'll see a clear message telling you what limit was hit and how to address it (upgrade, free up space, etc.).
What every plan includes
Regardless of tier, you get:
- All three chat modes (Ask, Focus, Co-work).
- All six workflows.
- Citation tokens and deep links.
- Automatic OCR.
- Downloads in every supported format.
- The document viewer in every supported renderer.
- The API (Basic and above; not Free).
How credits fit in
Most everyday actions are covered by your plan's flat allowance. Credits are the metered budget for the premium-tier actions:
- Premium and reasoning models.
- Workflow runs.
- Enhanced OCR (1 credit per page).
- Compose renders for some formats.
Your monthly credit allowance resets every month. One-time bundles are available on top, with no expiration. See How credits work for the mechanics.
Changing plans
Upgrade in account settings → Billing. The change takes effect immediately; new limits apply on the next action. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you don't lose anything mid-period.
What's next
- How credits work: what consumes credits and what doesn't.
- Read your credit usage: the dashboard.
- Pick a model: premium-model usage is the main credit driver.
